Bloggernacle Personalities

I was reading the most fascinating post over at American Scholar. There's a site where you can go and make each side of your face perfectly symmetrical. When Heidi did it to her face, the two different sides looked like they had completely different personalities. I thought it might be interesting to see what some of our Mormon bloggers might be hiding deep inside! Just take a look at these:

Kevin Barney, scholar

Kevin Barney, weight-lifter

Blake Ostler, SLC lawyer

Blake Ostler, Mormon apologist (check out the Joseph Smith hair)

Ronan, friendly Euro broadcaster

Ronan, fundy polygamist

Rosalynde, wholesome Mormon Mom

Rosalynde, Wiccan graduate student

Nerd Clay

Jock Clay

Deseret News Em Jensen, outgoing

Em Jensen, shy

Adam Greenwood, sanctimonius

Adam Greenwood, snarky

Here's me, BiV--with stopwatch earrings

...and looking a little crosseyed!

and finally--

new daguerrotypes found!!

Full disclosure: These come out looking better if you are holding your head perfectly straight. Go on, everyone--try this by going to Did it tell you anything about your personality?? Give me a link when you post your pics!

Hahaha. My favorite is "Ronan, fundy polygamist."

This was HILARIOUS! I'm sitting in the BU library stuffing my fist in my mouth trying to keep it together.

Yeah, you know, my pics aren't nearly as funny as the ones you posted. But I can put a good spin on this: the fact that my photos when done this way still look so much like myself means that I am a remarkably well balanced and moderate individual perhaps even nearing perfection. Ah, well, it sounded good in the moment.

I was secretly hoping I would look like a "wiccan grad" but *sigh* it didn't come through.
